DePocket Takes the Runners-Up Award at the Moonriver Grant Hackathon

From March 23rd to May 20th, the Moonriver Grant Hackathon brought $150,000 in prizes to all BUILDers that are willing to build on the Moonriver/Moonbase Alpha! This hackathon helps to reach as many developers/builders as possible so they can start building, experimenting, and launching on a live, incentivized CanaryNet that’s connected to the Kusama MainNet.

Additionally, it’s a great learning opportunity and a chance to dive into the Moonriver ecosystem with resources like workshops and office hours. Moonriver has a number of exciting and lucrative bounties with sample project ideas. There are also two Moonshot bounties that are open-ended for any new project and half of all the hackathon awards are distributed via Quadratic Funding.

After wrapping up, there were over 57 submissions competing for $150,000 in prizes. One-third of the funding was allocated to a matching pool where winners were chosen via public vote & quadratic funding.

DePocket was honored to join the Moonriver Grant Hackathon hackathon.

DePocket, a revolutionary new App that provides access to data from your wallets on multiple blockchains, joined this hackathon in its early days. We wanted to introduce our project to more people and let our developer team have the opportunity to learn, and experiment with other projects.

We’re really happy to receive the Runners — Up award, not too big when compare which the top projects. Despite coming second, it further motivates our team to keep moving forwards and strive to become the best.

We want to express our deepest thanks to our community for supporting us and voting, which helped us to receive some MOVR Grant rewards. Furthermore, we want to thank Dorahack and Moonriver for connecting DePocket to many amazing dApps in the Moonbeam ecosystem, helping us to build positive relationships with many projects, and promising a good partnership in the future. Together, we can all make the Defi world stronger.

DePocket will continue growing up!

Our team is working extremely hard on developing further solutions, and our dashboard is growing fast. We currently support more than 10 different chains and 30 dApps, and don’t show any signs of slowing down. This evolution will lead to DePocket launching our own Index engine in the near future. We aim to bring more value to our users.
